Yes, it is obvious that you have missed the point entirely of Nancy & Lee collaborating on this record. Rather than providing an intelligent and analytical review, 50 years after this album was recorded, you have only made yourself look very foolish by not understanding the subtle nuance of parody, the playful innocence of the arrangements and the extraordinary vocal range of Lee 'Hazlewood'. The quotation marks represent your extremely poor effort amateurism. Don't give up your day job, please. This album is either absolutely brilliant, or a travesty. Summer 1962 [poss. ' there is really no reason in the world why these two should be singing together, there is absolutely no chemistry or magic at all. The music and arrangements are all top-notch, classic late 60s LA sound, with a touch of Nashville. But as soon as you hear Lee Hazelton voice, you know you are in for a long tedious a ride.
